21% More Farmers in Odisha Register to Sell Kharif Paddy at MSP
A 21 percent rise has been observed in farmer registrations for selling Kharif paddy at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for 2020-21, by various primary agriculture cooperative societies in Odisha. All the 30 districts in the state have witnessed an increase in registrations by around 2 lakhs, as compared to 2019-20, the State Food & Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department stated. Registrations are being conducted online this year.
