Pakistan Warns Sharif To Be Declared “Proclaimed Offender” on Failing to Appear in Court
Former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif has been summoned on November 24 by the Islamabad High Court to avoid charges of 'proclaimed offender'. The order came after he refused to receive the non-bailable warrant to return back to Pakistan. The court also directed the government to advertise about the summon in newspapers. Nawaz is in London since November 2019, after the court allowed him eight weeks of medical treatment.
