Delhi Capitals Beat Sunrisers Hyderabad, Makes Maiden Entry To IPL Final
Delhi Capitals have made their maiden entry into IPL final after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 17 runs in second 'Qualifier'. Batting first, DC had a roaring start before Stoinis fell prey to Rashid Khan at team score of 86 runs. Later, Dhawan and Hetmyer marauded the SRH bowling attack. While Dhawan scored 78 runs off 50 deliveries, unbeaten Hetmyer slogged the bowlers in the end and with his 22-ball 42-run, DC put an above par total of 189 runs on the board. Chasing 190, SRH had a miserable start with captain Warner getting bowled by Rabada in the very second over. Worst happened in the fifth over of SRH innings when Stoinis struck twice for Priyam Garg and Mandey Pandey. Although Williamson with Abdul Samad tried to revive the things, SRH lost even the little left grim chances after the dismissal of Williamson by Stoinis. Stoinis was declared man of the match for his all-round performance.
