Coffee Industry To Be Brought Under Agriculture Ministry: Piyush Goyal

The central government is to revise the provisions of the Coffee Act 1942, by removing redundant clauses which seem to create hurdles in India's coffee trade. Reportedly, while holding a meeting with stakeholders of the Coffee Industry on September 18, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal has banished the concern of closing the organization. Goyal said, "Coffee to be brought under the Ministry of Agriculture to avail benefits."
