AAP Leader Files Bail Plea In SC, Challenges ED Arrest: Delhi
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate last month for his connection with the alleged Delhi Liquor Scam. The leader has now filed a petition in the apex court, challenging the decision of the Delhi High Court taken against him. The plea filing came after the Delhi High Court dismissed the plea of Sanjay Singh, challenging ED arrest.

ED To SC, Says Will Extend Summon By 10 Days For K Kavitha
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday told the Supreme Court it will extend by 10 days the date of summons issued to BRS leader K Kavitha in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case. The agency had issued the summons on Thursday, asking Kavitha to appear on September 15. Additional Solicitor General (ASG) S V Raju, appearing for the ED said, Kavitha had appeared before the ED earlier.

BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay Kumar Detained In Jangaon
BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay Kumar has been arrested, amid a protest call in Jangaon district. On August 23, the state police detained Kumar along with other BJP leaders, who allegedly protested outside residence of TRS MLC K Kavitha. It is to be noted, BJP alleged MLC Kavitha to be involved in the Delhi Excise Liquor Scam issue, which is being investigated by the CBI.
