Flipkart Delivery To Go Green With 25,000 EVs By 2030
Walmart-owned Flipkart on February 24 said it will deploy more than 25,000 electric vehicles by 2030, thrusting its commitment of total transition to electric mobility. The fleet will comprise two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers designed and assembled in India. Flipkart has even tied-up with Hero Electric, Mahindra Electric and Piaggio for customized manufacturing of EVs. The Walmart-owned company is also developing charging infrastructure at its delivery hubs and offices while it has already deployed 450 EVs.
