Haryana Govt Schools To Provide Free Education From Classes 9-12
Under Rs 1.55 lakh crore budget presented on March 12, Haryana Chief Minister and Finance Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced free education for classes 9 to 12 in government schools. For 2021-22, Khattar allocated Rs 18,410 crore for education, 17.8% higher than 2020. Reportedly, the government will make Special Education Zones (SEZ) for underprivileged students and promote technology-based learning. Besides, the construction of new government medical colleges have been announced in the budget.
