Pakistan Health Staff Amputate Newborn's Head, Leave It Inside Woman's Womb
Staff at a Rural Health Centre in Pakistan's Sindh province amputated a newborn baby's head and left it inside the mother's womb, putting the 32-year-old Hindu woman's life in danger. When the lady found herself in a life-threatening position, she was taken to Jamshoro's Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, where she was treated.
