PM Modi Congratulates Saudi Arabia Over G-20 Summit; Successful Despite Pandemic

Attending the virtually conducted G-20 Summit, PM Narendra Modi termed Coronavirus as a "turning point in history of humanity". Modi while addressing the summit said that the pandemic is the biggest challenge ever faced by the world since Second World War. The 15th G-20 Summit being organized in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia marks the theme "Realizing Opportunities of 21st Century for All”. The summit will have sessions on overcoming the pandemic, economic recovery, and building a sustainable future. PM Modi also congratulated Saudi Arabia for successfully organizing the summit despite the pandemic. Emphasizing better citizen participation, Modi urged for transparency in the governance system. He even asked for a Post-Corona Global Index and said that along with capital and finance, it is now the time to create a vast Human Talent Pool.
