Rain Cause Potholes On Bundelkhand Expressway Just Days After It Began; Sparks Outrage
Rains have caused potholes on a part of the 296-kilometer-long Bundelkhand expressway near Chiriya Salempur in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun district. The potholes were quickly filled, and the road was reopened to traffic. The event prompted outrage, and BJP MP Varun Gandhi questioned the caliber of the construction work and demanded that officials and the corporations in issue be held accountable. On July 16, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the 296-kilometer-long expressway.
