US Supreme Court To Hear Plea Over Mississippi's Abortion Act 2018

Owing to the long-running abortion case of Mississippi, the US Court announced that it will hear the case on December 1. However, the Biden led-government has requested the SC to retain the landmark decision of 1973 'Roe v.Wade' which legalizes abortion done within 24 weeks of pregnancy, and abolish the Mississippi law which prohibits abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. Besides, the Mississippi Act was passed in 2018.
