Indian Shooter Finished At 7th In 10m Air Pistol SH1 Final: Tokyo Paralympics
In the Tokyo Paralympics, Indian shooter Rubina Francis finished in the seventh position in the women's 10m air pistol SH1 final on August 31. Rubina scored 128.5 points at the Asaka Shooting Range in her first outing of the season. The shooter was eliminated in the last four shots. Meanwhile, Iran's Sareh Javanmardi won gold, Turkey’s Aysegul Pehlivanlar bagged silver and Hungary’s Krisztina won bronze.

ISSF World Cup: Shooter Yashaswini, Bhaker Clinch Gold, Silver Medals
Indian shooter Yashaswini Singh Deswal and Manu Bhaker bagged gold and silver medals respectively on March 20 in the women's 10m air pistol category at the ISSF World Cup. Shooting with a scoreline of 238.8, Deswal stood out from the crowd while Bhaker shot 236.7 to comfortably clinch silver. Meanwhile, Shri Nivetha started well-settled fourth with a score of 193.5. Reportedly, India has won three medals in the tournament.
