Congress Leader Ahmed Patel Dies Of COVID-19 Ailments
Congress veteran leader Ahmed Patel passed away due to COVID-19 related ailments in the early hours of November 25, informed his son Faisal Patel. The 71-year-old was a Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat. Senior political leaders, including PM Narendra Modi, Sonia Gandhi, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh have expressed their condolences for Patel's demise. Sonia said, "I have lost an irreplaceable comrade, a faithful colleague and a friend."

Gujarat: Congress Leader Ahmed Patel Tests Positive For COVID-19
Congress’s senior Rajya Sabha member Ahmed Patel tested positive for COVID-19 on October 1. Patel confirmed his health condition via twitter and also requested people who have come in contact with him in recent days to isolate themselves. The senior leader was present at the recent Rajya Sabha session where he was actively opposing the Farmer's bill.
