Pannun's Air India Threat: Indian Authority In Talks With Canadian Govt
After Sikhs for Justice (SFJ’s) counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun shared a threatening video regarding Air India flight, the Indian Government asked the Canadian counterpart and sought security for the airline. Notably, two days back, Pannun shared a video asking Sikhs not to fly by Air India, on November 19, as Pannun called for a ‘Global blockade’ of the airline from Vancouver to London. The flight is expected to be terminated.

Air India Pilot Allowed Woman Friend Inside Cockpit, Case Registered
An Air India pilot allegedly allowed a woman friend inside the cockpit of the flight. The case was registered with the AI and the DCGI, after a cabin crew filed a complaint citing violation of safety norms. The accused pilot also asked the cabin crew to make a welcoming, warm and comfortable arrangement for his woman friend. After the incident, the AI issued a statement and assured strict action.

Air India Muscat-Cochin Flights Reported Smoke, Passengers Evacuated Midway
An Air India Express flight reported smoke via slides, leading to evacuation of passengers, on September 14. The flight from Muscat-Cochin had 141 passengers and six crew members on board, who were safely rescued with an assurance of relief flight. Furthermore, no injuries have been reported, confirmed a statement from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Meanwhile, the details of the incident is awaited.
