AK-47 Rifles Seized From Ranchi House In Jharkhand Illegal Mining Case
In the ongoing investigation pertaining to illegal mining and extortion in Jharkhand, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized AK-47 rifles from a house in Ranchi. The discovery has come during raids conducted at multiple locations. The guns were found in an Almirah, which reportedly belonged to Prem Prakash, a suspected middleman. Earlier in the case, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren’s close aid and MLA Pankaj Mishra was arrested.

5 Criminals Arrested With Incriminating Materials: Meghalaya
In Meghalaya's East Jaintia Hills district, Meghalaya police have arrested five criminals and recovered one AK-47 rifle, AK series ammunition, and machetes in a special operation. "A special operation on the intervening night of March 11-12 led to the arrest of five hardcore criminals," police said. Furthermore, with the help of the Guwahati police, the accused were arrested from Guwahati. However, a further probe is underway.
