United States: Federal Judge Postpones TikTok Ban In Country
Upholding the view that the ban on video-making app TikTok "hampers free speech", US Federal Judge has postponed the President Donald Trump's decision to ban the app in the country. The pronouncement came after the President's decision was challenged by some of popular content creators of the country. Earlier, the Trump administration had ordered a ban on TikTok citing security concerns. The ban was to be implemented from November 12.

Joe Biden Extends Wishes to Jain Community on "Paryushan and Das Lakshan"
US presidential candidate Joe Biden on September 1 wished the Jain community on the occasion of Paryushan and Das Lakshan. While mentioning "Micchami Dukkadam" that means "to seek forgiveness", Joe tweeted, "Jill Biden [Joe's wife] and I send our best wishes to the members of the Jain faith concluding the holy observance of Paryushan and Das Lakshan." As per the Jain tradition, this festival is the path to salvation.
