About the confidential meeting between Wrestlers and Union Minister Amit Shah, Bajrang Punia said the grapplers have no ‘setting’ with Union home minister Amit Shah and the protests will continue. He added,"He and the fellow wrestlers were told by the government not to reveal to anyone about their meeting with Shah, but they themselves leaked it to the media. Furthermore, Punia also denied the reports of withdrawal from protest.

Did Not Withdraw Protest Against Govt, Sakshi Malik
Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik clarified herself after joining railway duty and denied claims of pulling out from the wrestlers' protest. Media reported that Malik has joined her job in Northern Railways hours after meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Moreover, Vinesh Poghat and Bajrang Punia are also reportedly back to their duties. However, the wrestlers denied the rumours and also claimed the meeting to be inconclusive.

Although the details of the meeting are not disclosed, but it lasted for over two hours and is said to be fruitful. India Rejects To Objection Of China Over Amit Shah's Arunachal Pradesh Visit
India firmly rejected China's objection to Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Arunachal Pradesh and asserted that the state "was, is and will" always remain an integral and inalienable part of India.
