ISKON Monk Banned Over Controversial Comments Against Swami Vivekananda
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) banned an engineer turned monk for his 'derogatory' remarks against Swami Vivekanand. On July 11, Amogh Lila Das, a monk confessed to his crime of saying problematic comments against his guru and philosopher Swami Vivekananda and said, he would therefore cut himself off from all social life for one month as part of atonement, said the ISKON trust in a press release.
