Indian tennis player Ankita Raina made her way into the second round of the French Open Qualifiers after defeating Jovana Jovic, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, on September 22 at Roland Garros. The Indian top seed took down the Serbian after an extended back-and-forth battle. Raina secured 53 winners and committed 46 unforced-errors during her comeback to clinch the victory. Raina will next face Japan’s Kurumi Nara on September 24.
