Air Quality In Delhi Stays Under 'Very Poor' Category With AQI Of 318: SAFAR

The AQI of Delhi remained in the 'very poor' category, on January 20. According to SAFAR, the national capital's AQI was recorded at 318. The AQI of Delhi for the next two days will remain in the 'very poor' category and is likely to rain on January 22 and 23, said SAFAR. Meanwhile, Noida's air quality and Gurugram's air quality remains in the 'very poor' category with AQI at 306.

Air Quality In Delhi Deteriorates To 'Very Poor' With AQI Of 312: SAFAR

The AQI of Delhi slipped from 'poor' to 'very poor' category on January 18. According to SAFAR, Delhi's AQI was recorded at 312. On January 17, Delhi's air quality was in the 'poor' category. Meanwhile, Noida's air quality remains 'very poor' with AQI at 341. Gurugram remains in the "poor" category with AQI at 280. IMD predicted rain in Delhi on January 21, and hail storms in Haryana and Punjab.

The Air Quality Index of Delhi remained in the "very poor" category, since January 14. According to SAFAR, the national capital's AQI recorded 301. However, on January 12, the AQI at Delhi slipped from the "satisfactory" category to "moderate". Meanwhile, Noida air quality remains 'very poor' with AQI at 309 and Gurugram stays in "poor" categories with AQI at 204.

According to SAFAR, the national capital's AQI is 312. On January 12, the AQI of Delhi slipped from the "satisfactory" category to "moderate" and from the last three days, it was in the "satisfactory category" from January 9 to January 11. Meanwhile, the Noida and Gurugram air quality remains in the "poor" category.

Air Quality In Delhi Slips To 'Moderate'; AQI Stands At 142

The Air Quality Index of Delhi continues to remain in the "moderate" category on January 13. According to SAFAR, the national capital's AQI is 142. On January 12, the AQI of Delhi slipped from the "satisfactory" category to the "moderate". The city's air quality was in the "satisfactory category" for the last three days from January 9 to January 11. As per government agencies, AQI of 101-200 is considered "moderate".

Air Quality In Delhi Drops To 'Moderate', Noida To 'Poor'

The Air Quality Index of Delhi has slipped from the "satisfactory" category to "moderate", on January 12. According to SAFAR, the national capital's AQI is 193. After a heavy rainfall, the city's air quality was "moderate" for the last three days. Meanwhile, the air quality of Noida has slipped to "poor" with an AQI of 211. Meanwhile, Gurugram slipped to the "moderate" category with an AQI of 105.

Delhi's AQI Improves To 'Satisfactory' Category Amid Heavy Rainfall

After Delhi rains, the Air Quality Index (AQI) fell under "satisfactory" category from "moderate", on January 9. With heavy rainfall and thunderstorm, the National Capital's AQI is 90, the lowest in the past few months. The IMD and Regional Weather Forecasting Centre predicted light to moderated rainfall in isolated regions of Delhi like New Delhi, Lodi Road, Yamunanagar, Karnal and other regions for the next two-three days.

Delhi AQI At 369, Slips To 'Very Poor' Category: CPCB

Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) once again slipped to "very poor category," on December 21. The Central Pollution Control Board confirmed the AQI at 369, from the previous 319. In addition, the IMD also issued alert and said the situation will be worsening in the coming days. "The air quality is likely to deteriorate and remain in upper end of Very Poor category but improve after December 26," said IMD.

Delhi Schools To Resume Classes From Dec 18

The Delhi Commission of Air Quality Management, on December 17, allowed schools to resume offline classes, in a phased manner. The decision came after the commission submitted a report to the Apex Court, about the steps taken to control air pollution in Delhi-NCR. Considering the better situation and green signal of the AQI commission, the Delhi Government announced resumption of classes 6 and above from December 18.

Delhi Records Lowest Temperature; AQI Moves To 'Poor' Category

Delhi recorded its minimum temperature of the season on December 12, which is 6.4 degrees Celsius, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Earlier on December 11, the national capital recorded a temperature of 8.3 degrees Celsius. Besides, the air quality index (AQI) in Delhi was at 255, which falls under the 'poor' category. The AQI of Gurgaon and Noida was 200 and 213, respectively.
