ASI Team's Survey Of Gyanvapi Mosque Enters Day 2: Varanasi

The 41-member ASI team started their survey at the Gyanvapi mosque for a second day.  The team entered the premises and started their search to find the truth behind the claims of the Hindu groups, saying the mosque is built on Hindu temple land and there's findings of ancients, shivling. Notably, the survey started after the Supreme Court allowed the survey, and upheld the Allahabad High Court's decision.

SC Allows Survey Of Gyanvapi Mosque By ASI Team: Varanasi

After the Allahabad High Court (HC,) the Supreme Court also announced the continuation of the Gyanvapi Mosque survey in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The verdict of the Top Court bench came as a huge win for the Hindu side in the filed plea. Notably, the Gyanvapi Mosque trust board moved the Apex Court, demanding stay on the survey by the ASI team, to find the truth behind claims of Hindu ancients.

Varanasi Court Extended Stay On Gyanvapi Mosque Survey

The Varanasi High Court has extended the stay on the survey of Gyanvapi Mosque. Hearing a petition filed against the ASI survey ordered by a district court, the HC bench said that the stay on survey will be extended till July 27. Meanwhile, the Archeological officials said, they were not destroying anything at the mosque, but would have just conducted an inspection to find truth behind Hindu ancients presence claims.

ASI Team Conducts Survey At Gyanvapi Mosque: Uttar Pradesh

The ASI team begin the survey of the controversial Gyanvapi Mosque, after the approval of the Varanasi High Court. Notably, the survey team started their inspection at 7:00 AM, finding the truth behind the claims of Hindu Litigants, who filed a petition, saying the parts of Gyanvapi Mosque hold Hindu ancients. However, the mosque committee opposed the survey and said will file a petition in the Supreme Court.
