Avascular Necrosis

Following the cases of black fungus (Mucormycosis) among the post-COVID-19 patients, three patients have been found suffering from Avascular necrosis or death of bones tissues in Mumbai. The patients, who are also doctors, after experiencing pain in their femur bone, rushed for treatment. “In patients who have suffered from long Covid-19 and needed steroids, this is a worry,” said a civic hospital doctor.
