Bengaluru Bandh Over Cauvery Water Disturbs People, Airport Cancels 44 Flights
Due to a bandh over the Cauvery water dispute in Bengaluru, not only the locals but people flying to other regions are also suffering. According to sources, Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru reported the cancellation of 44 flights, which included both arrivals and departures. The Karnataka bandh called by the 'Kannada Okkoota' to oppose release of water to Tamil Nadu received a good response in Bengaluru, disrupting normal life on September 29. Bengaluru Bandh: Karnataka State Private Vehicles Owners Call For Strike Opposing Shakti Scheme
