Amit Shah To Lay Foundation Stone of Maa Shakumbhari Vishwavidyalaya: UP
Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation Amit Shah, will lay the foundation stone of Maa Shakumbhari Vishwavidyalaya on December 2, at Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur. The office of the Home Minister of India informed that the ceremony will take place at 1 PM. Previously, in the 2017 UP elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party won 312 seats out of 403 seats. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party won 47, and BSP won 19 seats.

Congress Holds Protest In UP Against Yogi Government
The UP Congress will march across 403 constituencies of the state while holding a protest questioning the Yogi government on the issue of price hikes, loss of jobs, and many more. "On the anniversary of the start of the "Quit India Movement" on August 9, Congress workers will protest against the Yogi government," said party sources. The party will raise the slogan, "BJP Gaddi Chhodo".

Rajasthan Local Body Polls: Congress Wins 620 Wards, Outcounts BJP
Congress party secured a gratifying victory in Rajasthan's the Urban Local Bodies (ULB) polls as they overtook BJP in 620 wards. Out of 1,775 wards in 50 ULBs of 12 districts, congress gained majority followed by the independent candidates with 595 wards. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party lagged at 548 wards. Congress state President Govind Singh Dotasra called the victory an indication of BJP's diminishing impact.

Kerala: Oppositions Approach SEC Against CM's Free Vaccination Idea
United Democratic Front (UDF) and BJP have approached the State Election Commission after CM Pinarayi Vijayan had announced free vaccine distributions in the state. The ruling CPI(M) was fenced by oppositions as it allegedly aimed to lure the voters ahead of the four district polls on December 14. UDF convener MM Hassan also accused this move a violator of moral code. However, CPI(M) has dismissed accusations and termed them "childish".

Madhya Pradesh To Introduce 'Dharma Swatantrata Bill' To Curb 'Love-Jihad'
Madhya Pradesh's BJP government is all prepared to introduce the 'Dharma Swatantrata Bill' 2020, in-order to tackle the rising love-jihad cases. The bill proposes non-bailable five-year imprisonment for acts which lures religious conversions either by fraud or force, says Minister Narottam Mishra.
