Tencent Allows Messaging App WeChat's 'Content' To Be Searched On Google

Tencent's WeChat content including articles on its public account page was briefly searchable on "Google" and "Bing". The owner of china's most popular messaging app said on October 22, that it is a glitch that allowed some of its content to be searchable on external search engines and has fixed the issue. This raised questions over the regulator's latest attempt to crack down on the internet sector.
