Under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, to mark the 75th Independence Day, the Union Health Department will give a free booster vaccination dose against Covid-19. The Central Government in a release said, same COVID-19 vaccine dose will be given as the "third dose" also known as "precautionary dose". On January 5, the Government said, " No mix and match will be allowed".
