TXT Opens Up About Their Seniors BTS Helping Them In Music-Making

Fourth generation K-pop boyband TOMORROW X TOGETHER has revealed how their company senior BTS's leader RM participated in songwriting for their album's title track '0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori'. The five-member boyband recently released their second studio album called 'The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE'. Reportedly, the producer of the song stuck with the lyrics and asked for RM's assistance to which he gladly agreed to help.

BTS' Butter Song Tops Charts; Clocks 113 Mn YouTube Views In 24 Hours

South Korean K-Pop band BTS’ new song ‘Butter’ released on May 21 garnered 113 million views in 24 hours on YouTube. Crushing all records, as per the latest numbers on YouTube, the song clocked 128 million views. Notably, their earlier song ‘Dynamite’ had received 110 million views in 24 hours. The boy band will perform the song for the first time on Billboard Music Awards 2021 on May 23.

Mocked For Our Looks: BTS Releases Anti-Racism Statement

Korean Boyband BTS, on March 29, stated the ongoing racism incidents against Asians along with their racism experiences. The group recalled how they were mocked for their looks and were asked why Asians spoke in English. Besides, they had offered condolences to families who lost their loved ones to racism. BTS' anti-racism stand comes after eight people were shot in three Asian massage parlours in Atlanta on March 16.

K-pop sensation BTS has swept the board as 2020's most tweeted about musicians in the US for the fourth consecutive year. According to the Twitter survey, BTS ruled a whopping 6.7 billion tweets in 2020. Globally, maximum tweets about the boy band emanated from Twitter users in Indonesia and India, followed by South Korea. BTS Becomes First Korean Boy Band To Cross 1.2 Billion YouTube Views

Korean pop band BTS has become the country's first boy band to cross one-billion views mark on YouTube. The seven-member band achieved the feat with the title track, 'DNA', from their mini-album 'Love Yourself: Her'. Reportedly, the only other Korean artists breaching the billion mark are all-female band BLACKPINK and solo artist PSY (Gangnam Style). Currently, BTS is preparing for the release of 'BE: Essential Edition' on February 19.

US: BTS' 'Dynamite' Costume Goes For $1,62,500 In Auction

South Korean pop band BTS's costumes used in music video 'Dynamite' was sold for $1,62,500 in US-based Julien's auction event on January 31. The outfits that fetched eight times the expected amount have been bought by Japanese art collector Yusaku Maezawa and YouTuber Kikakin. Snoop Dog's signed self-portrait painting stood second at $96,000. Reportedly, the auction would benefit NGO MusiCares to aid artists and music professionals.
