Cabinet Committee on Security

Given the volatile situation in Afghanistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 17 chaired a high-level meet at his Delhi residence of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), which deals with the national security issue. The PM instructed officials to ensure a secured eviction of all Indian nationals from Afghanistan. Refuge should be given to Sikhs and Hindus who want to enter India, he added.
