Punjab CM Announces Rs 40 Lakh Cash Prize For Weightlifter Harjinder Kaur
The Punjab Government announced Rs 40 Lakhs for weightlifter Harjinder Kaur, on August 2. CM Bhagwant Maan announced the money for the victory of Kaur at the Commonwealth Games 2022, after she won a bronze medal, at Birmingham, England. Furthermore, CM Maan stated that the government is committed to encouraging those who excel in sports and that these athletes will be given cash prizes for their efforts.

IIHM To Organise Young Chef Olympiad For Student Chefs; Cash Prizes Up To $5,000
International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) is organising eighth edition of Young Chef Olympiad (YCO), which will commence on January 30 and go on till February 5. Student chefs from over 40 countries will take part in the event and compete for the covenant YCO 2022 title. The winner (gold) of the 2-round competition will win a cash prize of $5,000. It is $3,000 for silver and $2,000 for bronze.

Delhi's Food Stall Offering 50K For Eating 21 Plates Chole Kulche In 30 Min
In Delhi, an outlet called 'Delhi's Hari Om Chole Kulche' is going viral on the Internet for offering Rs 50,000 cash prize for eating tasty chole kulche. However, it's not so simple because one or as a couple have to eat 21 plates of chole kulche within 30 minutes to win the prize money. Reportedly, the organiser charges only Rs 2,100 if anyone fails to complete the challenge.
