The annual Hasanamba festival at the Hasanamba Temple in Karnataka's Hassan started on October 29. The festival is likely to go on till November 6, 2021. Reportedly, only elected representatives and officers were allowed to enter the temple on the first day due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Furthermore, devotees are allowed to enter everyday, except the last day. Besides, the temple gates opened in the presence of officials. 

At the Beverly hills celebration, Angelina Joile rewarded the National Youth Poet laureate Amanda Gorman with variety's Power of Women honors. Reportedly, Jolie also dedicate a poem to Gorman that stated "The young woman of grace, who stepped fearlessly to the podium...there was an Amanda we didn't see.'' On September 11, Mysuru Forest Department announced that elephants will undergo COVID tests before the Dasara festival.
