EU Likely To Ban Petrol & Diesel Vehicles By 2035
The European Commission has proposed a plan to cut the vehicular CO2 emissions from 37.5% to 55% by 2030 and further 100% by 2035 among the EU's 27 member states. Reportedly, the plan will stop the manufactures to sell diesel and petrol cars from 2035, excluding those who produce between 1,000 and 10,000 cars in a year. The proposal is yet to be passed by the European Parliament.

Bitcoin Mining 'Emits' More Carbon, Consumes 1752.79 KWh of Electrical Energy
Not only has the value of Bitcoins continued to soar since 2020, but also the energy that is used during "cryptocurrency mining". Recent findings suggest that a single Bitcoin transaction consumes 1752.79 kilowatts hours (KWh) of electrical energy, which is equal to the energy absorbed during 1.2 million VISA transactions. Cryptocurrency mining emits greenhouse gas that is almost equal to spending 138,762 hours on YouTube.

50% Global Methane Emissions Emanate From Aquatic Ecosystems: Study
Almost 50% of the Methane emissions comes from aquatic ecosystems including natural, human-created and human-impacted aquatic ecosystems, claimed a study in journal 'Nature Geoscience'.
