In a major drawback to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP,) the Rouse Avenue Court extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia, the AAP leader and Deputy CM of Delhi. With this, Manish Sisodia, the prime accused in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam will be in jail until April 27 with CBI and April 29 with the Enforcement Directorate (ED.) Sisodia was arrested in March and has been under custody.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal called for a meeting with the AAP legislators regarding the Delhi Excise Policy. Furthermore, the AAP alleged that the BJP is trying to bribe and threat AAP MLAs and in this regard, the party will conduct a meeting at 11:00 am. During the meeting, the party will hold discussions over current CBI raids and investigations on Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh expressed displeasure against the BJP Government over the CBI raids on Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s residence on August 19. Addressing the media, Singh said that the ruling party won’t succeed in stopping the AAP party from increasing its influence in other states. He also declared that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be "Kejriwal versus Modi" and AAP will be strong.
