A Chennai court has upheld the expulsion of one-time AIADMK leader VK Sasikala, following the demise of Jayalalithaa. The court turned down her place in the wake of an interlocutory application filed by the AIADMK Coordinator and the Joint Coordinator. Sasikala had earlier approached the civil court, claiming that her removal as the General Secretary was invalid.
