Karnataka CET 2022: 9,600 Invigilators Deployed For 2,16,525 Candidates

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) 2022 is scheduled to be held from June 16 to June 18. Karnataka CET is a gateway that facilitates candidates to seek admissions for various professional courses in the state. About 2,16,525 candidates have registered for the exam which will be conducted in 486 centres across the state. About 9,600 invigilators and 20,483 officials have been deployed to carry out the examination duties.

NEET PG 2022 Scorecard Of Examination To Release Soon

After releasing the 2022 NEET PG merit list on June 1, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) will release the scorecard of the medical entrance exam at nbe.edu.in., on June 8.  As per the official notice, the NEET PG 2022 scorecard will be issued from June 8, onwards.  Notably, those who have qualified for the entrance test can download the NEET PG scorecard 2022 by entering their user-ID and password.

Odisha CM Virtually Launches Olympic Values Education Programme In 90 Schools

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik virtually inaugurated the Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) in 90 schools on May 24. The International Olympic Committee created the OVEP as a practical set of resources. CM Naveen Patnaik remarked that this was the start of a new Olympic movement in India. The program's goal is to spread this value-based education so that children may grow up to be active, healthy, and responsible citizens.

Delhi Deputy CM Presents Delhi's Education Approach At Education World Forum-2022, London

Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, spoke before 122 education ministers and professionals from around the world at the Education World Forum, 2022 in London on May 23. As per Sisodia, the Delhi administration increased people's faith in the government school system by prioritizing education. According to him, the number of pupils enrolled in Delhi government schools has grown by 21% since 2015.

NEET UG 2022 Registration Deadline Extended; Check Details Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date of registration for NEET UG 2022, to May 15. Earlier, the last date for registration was May 6, which has now been superseded. The extention had come as a blessing to students who were not able to register before May 6. Reportedly, the duration of the exam will be three hours and 20 minutes, and will be conducted offline.

Ukraine-Returned Indian Medical Students Flag Poor Quality Of Online Education

Odisha School Timings Revised Amid Heatwave

Schools in Odisha have reopened with revised timings, as per the state government instructions, thanks to concerns over ongoing heatwaves in the region. The Odisha education department announced on 1st May, "Keeping the current scenario of heatwave into consideration, the teaching hours for all schools have been rescheduled." The school hours in the state will now be from 6:00 AM till 9:00 AM.

NEET UG 2022 Registration Deadline Extended, Check Date

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to apply for NEET UG 2022 from May 6 till May 15. The entrance test is slated for July 17 this year. The interested candidates can apply for the entrance test at neet.nta.nic.in. The NTA notification notes, “the scores of NEET (UG) will be used for the selection of FEMALE Candidates Only for admission to the B.Sc. (Nursing) Course."
