3 Dead, 6 Injured As 9 Persons Electrocuted In UP Village
Three people died and six were injured due to electrocution after coming in contact with high-tension wires in Uttar Pradesh's Nagal Singhi village. The incident occurred during the installation of a bore pipe. Reportedly, the power switch feeder was on and as the pipe came in contact with the wires, nine of them received electric shocks, said Mukesh Mishra, Superintendent of Police.

Dairy Owner Beats Children, Gives Electric Shock: UP
Following a complaint, the UP police have booked a Bareilly’s dairy owner and his associates who have allegedly tortured five children, accusing them of stealing his mobile phone of Rs 30,000 on July 14. Reportedly, the owner purportedly picked the children from their homes, beat them, and gave electric shocks with a live wire. Post the rescue, the children were sent to the district hospital.
