Massive Earthquake Of 6.6 Magnitude Shakes Greece, Turkey

Turkey's Izmir and Greece's Samos Island felt major tremors on October 30 after an earthquake occurred in the Aegean Sea. Reportedly, the 6.6 magnitude earthquake has destroyed minimum 20 buildings in Izmir and trapped people under the debris in at least five places. Being positioned at 13 km north-east of the Greek island of Samos, the earthquake had an initial magnitude of 6.9, reported the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
