Satya Easwaran Appointed As Wipro India Head

Satya Easwaran, who has served as a top executive in the professional services network, KPMG, has been appointed as the new Wipro India Head. In his new role, he would be responsible for strengthening the company's business in the country. Anis Chenchah, a member of the Wipro executive board, noted that Easwaran's global experience and his track record would be helpful in strengthening the company's image as a reliable partner.

Emami Executives To Step Down From Position, Paves Way For Future Generation

Emami Founder and executives announced to step down as executive roles, paving way for next generation. On February 3, the company announced that, its executive heads RS Agarwal and RS Goenka will be working as Chairman Emeritus and non Executive Chairman, effective from April 1, 2022.  In addition, Mohan Goenka and Harsha V Agarwal will also step down from their MD positions and become full time directors.

Parliamentary Committee Suggests Using ‘Officials Of The Union of India’

A parliamentary panel has recommended the term "officials of the Union of India" instead of the conventional "central government officials" while referring to administrators of all three organs of governance.
