TRP Scam: Republic TV To File Case Against Mumbai Police Commissioner
Republic Media Network has stated that it will sue Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh for Rs 200 crore for allegedly defaming the channel in TRP scam case. Reportedly, the company's statement claimed that the counsel of Maharashtra government and Mumbai Police confessed in the Bombay High Court that the channel was not named in the TRP-related FIR. Based on this, the channel stated to file a defamation case.

TRP Scam: BARC Disappointed with Republic TV's Actions
The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) in its statement on October 18 stated that it never commented on the ongoing TRP scam case and provided full support to investigation agencies.
