Virat Says Team Discussed On Going Farmers' Protests In Meetings

Citing delay in FIR, a Delhi court granted bail to journalist Mandeep Punia on a bond of Rs 25,000 on February 2. Delhi HC Rejects Petition To Release Detained R-Day Protesters

The Delhi High Court on February 2 directed the police to investigate the Republic Day violence at the earliest and has rejected the petition seeking the release of detained protestors. Claiming the petition as "Publicity Interest Litigation", Judges pronounced, “the arrested persons cannot be released without entering into the merits of FIRs". Besides, the bench has directed to produce the detainees before the Magistrate within 24 hours.
