CM Bommai Shares His 'Model State' Vision For Karnataka
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on April 16, during his speech after laying the foundation stone for some project in Naragund, shared his vision for a new era of development in the state. He said that Karnataka would be turned into a "model state" by creating job opportunities and empowering the citizens economically. He also credited ex-CM BS Yediyurappa and KS Eshwarappa for the Kalasa Banduri project.

Former Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa's Granddaughter Dies By Suicide
Former Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa's granddaughter has been found dead at her Bengaluru apartment, on January 28. Soundarya Neerja allegedly committed suicide and hung herself to death. Although no note was found at her apartment, police called it "unnatural death" and started investigation.
