CM Bommai Shares His 'Model State' Vision For Karnataka
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on April 16, during his speech after laying the foundation stone for some project in Naragund, shared his vision for a new era of development in the state. He said that Karnataka would be turned into a "model state" by creating job opportunities and empowering the citizens economically. He also credited ex-CM BS Yediyurappa and KS Eshwarappa for the Kalasa Banduri project.

KS Eshwarappa To Submit Resignation To Bommai: K'taka Contractor's Death Case
Minister KS Eshwarappa will reportedly submit his resignation to Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai on April 15, after his alleged connection in the suicide case of a contractor. He is scheduled to arrive at Bommai's residence for a brief meeting before submitting his resignation letter. Contactor Santosh Patil who was found dead in a lodge in Uduppi, had accused Eshwarappa for corruption.

'Resignation Is Not Solution,' Says DK Shivakumar In Contractor Death Case
Congress leader DK Shivakumar demanded action against Karnataka State Minister KS Eshwarappa, who is alleged of corruption and murder of a contractor Santosh Patil. Staging a protest, Shivakumar said, "Resignation is not a solution. A case of corruption has to be registered, then he has to be arrested". Notably, KS Eshwarappa is alleged of asking 40% commission from Patil and when he declined, Eshwarappa tortured him to commit suicide.
