Fukushima

The journey to Tokyo Olympics has officially begun on March 25 as the Japanese Women's football team carried the Olympic torch through Fukushima. The torch will now be carried by 10,000 runners across 859 locations for 120 days before the opening ceremony slated for July 23. Fukushima was chosen as the starting point to pay tribute to 18,000 deceased people who died in 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
