In Uttarkashi's Gangotri National Park, one of the rare wild snow-leopard was spotted wandering on March 5. As per the reports, the leopard, which was spotted is claimed to be an endangered species. However, the leopard of this kind is still under positive radar of being conserved and serves an unequivocal hope.
Recent sightings of rare animal species have proved the blooming biodiversity of Uttarakhand’s Gangotri National Park. The Divisional Forest Officer RN Srivastava said sightings and camera trapping of rare Snow Leopard, Himalayan Brown Bear and Himalayan Tahr confirm the park has a stable prey base.
