Mumbai Boy Makes Eco-Friendly Grow Bag Made Of Recycled Bottles

Jinay Gada, a 17-year-old Mumbai native, a student of K J Somaiya College of Science and Commerce, has developed lightweight grow bags out of non-woven cloth as an eco-friendly option. However, Gada established ‘Planteria' in July 2021 and began promoting these grow bags across India. “They are sturdy, regulate water drainage, and promote air pruning. To date, I have sold 200 bags through social media,” says Jinay Gada.
