Owing to state and regional festivities, several bank branches will be closed for six days in the month of November in India. On November 19, banks are closed due to Guru Nanak Jayanti/ Karthika Purnima. Other holidays fall on November 21 (Sunday), November 22 (Kanakadasa Jayanthi), November 23 (Seng Kutsnem), November 27 (Fourth Saturday of the month), and November 28 (Sunday).

Worrying over Indian Farmer's Protest, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau said that Canada will always defend the rights of peaceful protests. "Canada believes in a dialogue process and has always sorted to Indian authorities over Punjab and Sikh issues," he added. Having significant Sikh population, several other Sikh Canadian parliamentarians including the Defence Minister Harjit Singh showed their concern over the ongoing farmers agitation.

Celebrating the 551st birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, devotees from across the country offered prayers at the Golden Temple and sought blessings on November 30. The Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) was decorated with lights and candles to commemorate the anniversary of the Sikh guru. Extending his greetings, President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted "let us resolve to conduct ourselves in a manner so as to emulate his teachings.”
