Uttar Pradesh Law and Order ADGP, Prashant Kumar, has stated that forensic reports suggest the victim of Hathras case was not sexually assaulted. Citing the report, he added that the sample had no sperm and hence the cause of death was not rape. He also mentioned that the facts were misrepresented to create 'caste violence' and 'disturb social harmony' in the state. However, the family members have demanded a CBI probe in the matter.
