Aligarh College Bans Entry Of Hijab-Wearing Students
After the Hijab row in Karnataka, Shree Varshney College in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh also refused to give entry to Muslim girls wearing hijab. In addition, the college had issued a notice to this extent on March 12. "We only want students to follow the rules and regulations of the college. We are following directions,'' said Anil Varshney, the college proctor. Previously, wearing burqa was ban, now hijab too, said a student.

Section 144 Imposed In Areas Around All High Schools In Udupi
The administration imposed Section 144 of CrPC in areas around all high schools in Udupi from February 14 till 19. As per reports, All sorts of gatherings including protests and rallies are banned, also, Inciting slogans and speeches are strictly barred. The order is applied within a 200-metre radius of high schools. Notably, the decision was taken by the state government in view of the hijab-saffron shawl controversy.
