Ex Punjab CM Summoned By ED In Illegal Sand Mining Case
Former Punjab CM Charanjit Channi has been summoned by the ED, in illegal sand mining and transfers posting cases. Notably, this is the second time the ED has summoned Channi. The first one was for April 14, which he skipped, following which he has been asked to appear on April 16. Furthermore, ED is investigating an illegal sand mining case registered against Channi's nephew Bhupinder Singh alias Honey.

Odisha: Tribals Fear Forest Fires, High Temp May Cause Low Honey Output
Honey collectors in tribal areas of Odisha’s Mayurbhanj have claimed that wildfires and rising temperatures in Similipal Biosphere Reserve will adversely affect the honey output.
