Heat & humidity resulted in the death of three-elderly people during a festival in West Bengal.  The deceased were devotees, attending the religious gathering "Doi Chirey Mela", in Panihati, North 24 Parganas. "Distressed to know of 3 old devotees' death due to heat and humidity in Danda Mahotsav at ISKCON temple at Panihati. CP and DM have rushed, all help being provided," said CM Mamata Banerjee.
