Former Congress Spokesman Shoots Wife, Police Launch Investigation
In a shocking incident, a former Congress spokesman Rishabh Bhadoria allegedly shot his wife dead. The incident happened in the wee hours of June 6, in Madhya Pradesh. Police said, "The incident occurred in Ram Nagar locality under the Thatipur police station limits in Gwalior city. Bardhamanand Sharma said the accused, who is a habitual offender used a firearm to shoot his wife and fled the crime spot.

Lok Sabha Session Adjourned Till Dec 16 Amid Opposition Uproar
The Winter Lok Sabha session has been adjourned till 11:00 AM, on December 16. The opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi issued adjournment motion, demanding removal of the BJP's Ajay Mishra Teni, the State Home Minister for Uttar Pradesh. Congress Announces Lalsawta As Mizoram Unit Chief
The Indian National Congress (INC) appointed Lalsawta as the new Chief of the Congress in the State on December 5. The seat was vacated after Sonia Gandhi accepted the resignation of former chief minister Lal Thanhawla from the post on December 4. Delhi HC Dismisses Plea To Stop Publication Of Salman Khurshid's Book
The Delhi High Court (HC,) on November 25, dismissed the petition filed to stop publication and circulation of Congress leader Salman Khurshid's book, "Sunrise Over Ayodhya: Nationhood Of Our Times." Reportedly, Khurshid's book has been claimed to be controversial, hurting the religious sentiments of the Hindu community. "What can we do if people are feeling so sensitive", the judge said in a statement proceeding to dismiss the petition.
